Coolbeam
Coolbeam is the English name for cold light mirror lamp, i.e. a halogen lamp that has a dichroic reflector. This cold light reflector consists of an interference layer system and thereby reflects visible light, while it reflects the infrared light largely either absorbed or transmitted. This causes heat to diffuse which means that in addition to improved colour rendering the light also gives off less heat.
