Dark sky technology is a method from lighting planning in which the entire light of an outdoor light is illuminated with the help of < a i=3>Reflectors is directed downwards. This avoids brightening of the night sky, the so-called light pollution. Above the luminaire there is no light emission from artificial light sources, which prevents unnecessary brightening of the night sky and thus the so-called light smog.
