General Lighting

Share
General lighting or basic lighting is the uniform lighting of a room without setting accents. The light is not directed to specific areas, but spreads through diffuse light sources, incandescent lamps, long field light sources or metal halide lamps in the entire room. This type of lighting balances contrasts, creates soft shadows and avoids emphasis. Her aim is to illuminate the room in such a way that, in addition to the architecture, all objects and people are equally visible. General lighting is used, for example, to provide an overview of the room and also for orientation.
