The Designer Behind the Magic – Giancarlo Mattioli ☄️
The Nesso Lamp was designed in 1967 by Giancarlo Mattioli, a prominent figure in Italian modernism and a founding member of the design collective Gruppo Architetti Urbanisti Città Nuova. Produced by Artemide, a leading Italian lighting brand, the lamp became an instant classic thanks to its playful form and innovative use of plastic.
Made from injection-molded ABS resin, the Nesso was groundbreaking — futuristic in both shape and material. Perfect for anyone seeking trendy lamps, modern lights online, or a design statement that’s pure fun. 😍✨
